How can I make my Vermont Milk farm more Green, Cost-effective, and Profitable using Green Tech and Resoures?

Thursday Sep 4, 2008

I have a 300+ Cow Milk Farm for cheese production. I've been thinking about trying to recycle the Manure for methane fuel and maybe packaging up some as organic fertilizer. Also, I am interested in placing up some solar panel arrays and exploring any other new Green Tech and Resources out there. Am very interested but don't know where to start.

If you pick up a copy of green farming you will see an add about a dairy that just did that. Also ANFO is a dairy products co. But has great info on those topics. I would love to know more about your cheese.

What are the differences between cheddar cheeses?

Thursday Sep 4, 2008

I mean like Wisconsin, New York, Vermont. I understand the sharpness, but in the store there are cheddars from different places. What makes them different?
I love Cheddar too. Cheddar and Havarti are my two favorites. I was just wondering if there was a difference in taste.

Cattle that graze in different pastures produce milk that has different flavours. So regional cheeses will have slightly different notes.

where can i buy Kraft Macaroni & Cheese in england.?

Wednesday Jun 25, 2008

They do sell some on ebay but is there anywhere else?

Asda sell it. It's called Kraft Cheesy Pasta now, but it's the same. I presume that if Asda sell it then all the large supermarkets will sell it to.
